Thomas and Esther’s family.

I’m going to tell you about the children of the above, it might not be much but it’s all I have.

Samuel was born in 1805 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; he was baptised on 8 September 1805 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby. On 7 June 1841 Samuel lived at The Green, Rothley, Leicestershire, England; his occupation was Stocking Mac.

John was born in 1807 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; he was baptised on 8 March 1807 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby. On 30 March 1851 John lived at Thurmaston South, Leicestershire, England; his occupation was Framework Knitter. On 2 April 1871 John lived at Leicester Road, Thurmaston, Leicestershire; his occupation was Framework Knitter.

Hannah was born in 1808 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; she was baptised on 12 November 1808 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby.

Mary was born in 1810 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; she was baptised on 11 March 1810 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby. In 1828 Mary married Henry Preston. On 7 June 1841 they lived at Hilwaroby Street, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, England.


Elizabeth was born in 1813 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; she was baptised on 22 December 1813 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby. On 4 August 1833 Elizabeth married John Barber at St Mary, High Street, Sileby. On 30 march 1851 they lived at Banks, Sileby, Leicestershire, England. Elizabeth died on 5 August 1860 at East Leicester, Leicestershire, England; she was buried on 6 August 1860 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire; Elizabeth was 46 years old.

Esther was born in 1815 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; she was baptised on 7 December 1815 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire.

James was born in 1817 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; he was baptised on 18 July 1817 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire.

Emily was born in 1819 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; she was baptised on 7 March 1819 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire.

William was born in 1821 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; he was baptised on 10 July 1821 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire. On 7 June 1841 William was living at King Street, Sileby; his occupation was a Framework Knitter. On 5 April 1891 William lived at Derby Road, Hathern, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England; his occupation was Late Framework Knitter in wool. William died in 1904 in Leicestershire; he was 83 years old.

Joseph was born in 1824 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; he was baptised on 6 July 1824 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire. Joseph died in 1904 in Leicestershire, England; he was 80 years old.

Mary was born in 1829 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England. On 7 June 1841 Mary lived at King Street, Sileby, Leicestershire.

In 1841 John married Catharine Wellton at Leicester, England. On 7 June 1841 they lived at Church Lane, Sileby; John’s occupation was Framework Knitter. On 21 July 1845 John’s occupation was Framework Knitter.

In March 1848 John died in Leicestershire, England. On 26 March 1848 John was buried in the church yard of St Mary, Sileby, Leicestershire; John was 73 years old.

Elizabeth was born in 1780 at Sileby, Leicestershire, England; Elizabeth was baptized on 25 September 1780 at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire, England. On 10 August 1801 Elizabeth married John Martin at St Mary, High Street, Sileby, Leicestershire. In  January 1848 Elizabeth died in Leicestershire, England. In March 1853 Samuel died in Northamptonshire, he was buried on 22 March 1853; Samuel was 65 years old.


Jane was born in 1795 at Ashby St Ledgers, Northamptonshire, England; she was baptized on 28 June 1795 at Ashby St Ledgers. On 19 May 1822 Jane married Thomas Bruce Briers at Northamptonshire. Jane died in 1824 at Ashby St Ledgers, she was buried on 11 April 1824 at The Blessed Virgin Mary, Ashby St Ledgers; Jane was 29 years old.
