James & Ann’s family

I’m going to tell you about the children of the above, it might not be much but it’s all I have.

Mary Ann was born in 1844 in Shotteswell, Warwickshire, England; she was baptised on 27 May 1844. On 30 March 1851 she lived with her parents at Akerman Street, Farm End, Shotteswell; her occupation was Scholar. On 7 April 1861 she lived at 30 Parson’s Street, Banbury, Oxfordshire; her occupation was House Servant.

Ellen was born in 1847 in Shotteswell, Warwickshire; she was baptised on 7 March 1847. On 30 March 1851 she lived with her parents at Akerman Street, Farm End, Shotteswell. On 7 April 1861 she lived with her parents at High Street, Shotteswell.

John was born in 1850 at Shotteswell, Warwickshire; he was baptised on 26 May 1850. On 30 March 1851 he was living with his parents at Akerman Street, Farm End, Shotteswell. On 7 April 1861 he was living with his parents at High Street, Shotteswell. On 2 April 1871 he lived at High House, Grandborough, Warwickshire, England; John’s occupation was General Servant.

Francis (aka Frank) was born in 1853 at Shotteswell, Warwickshire; he was baptised on 9 October 1853. On 7 April 1861 he was living with his parents at High Street, Shotteswell. On 2 April 1871 he was living with his parents in Shotteswell, Warwickshire; his occupation was Agricultural Labourer.

Sarah was born in 1859 at Shotteswell, Warwickshire; she was baptised on 9 January 1859. On 7 April 1861 she lived with her parents at High Street, Shotteswell. On 2 April 1871 she lived with her parents at Shotteswell, Warwickshire. On 13 November 1880 Sarah married William Haynes at the Parish Church, Shotteswell, Warwickshire; Sarah’s occupation was Servant, she and William lived at Shotteswell, Warwickshire. On 3 April 1881 & 5 April 1891 they lived at Shotteswell, Warwickshire. Sarah died before 2 April 1911 – because on the 1911 census her husband William is down as a widower. Sarah was 52 years old.

William was born in 1862 at Shotteswell, Warwickshire; he was baptised on 25 May 1862. On 2 April 1871 he lived with his parents at Shotteswell, Warwickshire; his occupation was Scholar. On 3 April 1881 he lived in Shotteswell, Warwickshire; William’s occupation was Agricultural Labourer.
